New submission and NaNoWriMo

I’ve finally got my act together and submitted another manuscript that is near and dear to my heart. The manuscript in question is the first one I tried to get published. It has seen many, many rejections, all which have served to make it a stronger book. Hopefully it is where it needs to be and you will finally be able to read it in the not too distant future.

In other news, my NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) entry is woefully behind. I’m having trouble reconciling myself to writing for quantity rather than quality. Let me tell you that trying to write 1667 words per day results in a lot of, for lack of a better word, crap! Or at least for me. Still, I going to keep trying. 50,000 in a month is a lot but boy, writer’s block doesn’t stand a chance. Now, my classy reserved heroine might end up being abducted by aliens if I want to make my daily word count, but there’s got to be a book in there somewhere. Right?
