Guest Post with Hennessee Andrews ~ Go Bananas!
Calling all banana lovers, I have a couple of recipes for you! The banana is by far my most favorite fruit, but what is it about the banana that makes it such a wonderful fruit to me? Hmmm, is it because it’s packed with vitamins and minerals? Is it the creamy texture and subtle smooth blend of flavor? Or is it because of its phallic shape, reminding me of a long ago time in sex education when I practiced rolling a condom on one while wondering what a “real one” was like?
Whatever it is about this yummy fruit, it has me hooked. It is versatile, healthy, sensual, and packed with nature’s goodness. Hee hee, sounds like a damn good man to me!
To celebrate this penis shaped wonder, I have a couple of recipes, showcasing the wonderful banana.
7 lg. ice cubes
4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 oz. Crème de Cacao 42 proof
1 oz. Crème de Banana 50 proof
1 oz. Kahlua 53 proof
Toss all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Easy, right? Garnish with whipped cream and a banana slice. Sweet yumminess, I can almost taste it now. (Yes, I make up my own words all the time.)
Personally, I love chocolate and bananas together. Regularly, I drink chocolate-banana smoothies, oh yum. I found a fun recipe that kids would enjoy or it could be used for fun, ahem, at kinky ladies parties.
These look so delicious and naughty!
Another way to eat these scrumptious morsels would be to cut them up into bites, like pictured below, but why ruin the fun?
Easy…Slice up bananas and dunk them in melted chocolate chips. (Add peanut butter if you want.) Sprinkle coconut or nuts on top and freeze on wax paper.
Popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks
5 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
5 oz. white chocolate
3 tsp. shortening (personally, I’d omit this, because of the fat.)
Fun sprinkles or toppings
Freeze bananas with sticks in them while you melt the chocolate. Melt in microwave at 100% power setting in 30 seconds increments and stir between until completely melted. (If you use shortening, add 1 1/2 tsp. to each bowl of chocolate.) Dip bananas in chocolate, coat with toppings and place on parchment or wax paper and freeze, pretty simple.
I come from a family with unique sense of humors and very dirty minds. Since I’m sharing banana recipes with you, I thought I’d share a funny banana story as well, featuring my mother. My mom and her long time friend were grocery shopping together years ago. They went separate ways in the produce section, each gathering items from their lists. My mother being the matriarch of all naughtiness found the biggest bananas she’d ever seen and it made her giggle. Holding up a group of three of the enormous penis shaped fruits she hollered across the department to her friend, “Hey, Trudy! I got us one to eat too!” Apparently Trudy turned bright red, tucked tail and hurried out of the store, mortified. My mom, well, she had one hell of a laugh.
I hope you enjoy the recipes and the story, moving on. J
Some of you may be wondering just who is Hennessee Andrews? Well, let me tell you. I’m your average mom, married for 15 years now with two beautiful girls. I’m a little redneck and a lot naughty. (By the way, I do have all my teeth. LOL) My home base is in Missouri where we raise the best food known to man…..BEEF! (I’m hearing the beef, it’s what’s for dinner commercial in my head all of a sudden. Giggling here.) Yep, I’m a country girl, but I bet you’d figure that out if you read my books….wink, wink.
I’ve been writing for three years with my first book being published in May of this year with Siren Publishing. Since, I have had two others published with Siren as well. Coming in October I’m part of the 13 author anthology “Just Vamps” with Evernight Publishing. I’m very excited about this and personally can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
Evernight presents thirteen erotic vampire tales to sink your teeth into. Follow the moon’s glow through the shadows and let these delicious immortal alphas show you just how satisfying eternal life can be.
